We only work with a handful of carefully selected fabric mills across the world, so there is consistency of quality amongst the entire collection. Our mills are vertically integrated so weaving and finishing is all done inhouse to ensure a reliable product every time.

All premium natural fibres like cotton, linen and wool will naturally shrink slightly with wash. While linen tends to shrink 3 to 4%, cotton only shrinks about 1 to 3%.

100% of our fabrics are tested by a well-known International testing agency called Intertek (www.Intertek.com) and test results can be provided for any of our articles upon request.

We test for a variety of fabric characteristics such as DP Rating, Piling, Colour fastness and Physical performance after wash. We work with OKEO TEX standards.

We value and demand transparency within the Value chain from all of our weaving mills.

All our fabric rolls that arrive from the mill are packed in cloth (sustainable materials), not plastic.

All our fabrics can be purchased in increments of 0.10 meters.

Shivas carries two types of fabrics - Never out of Stock (Always available) or Seasonal items which are limited in quantity and will not be re-stocked once they are sell out.

All fabrics are thoroughly inspected from the mills as well as by our warehouse team prior to packaging therefore we rarely have any issues related to defects or flaws. Nonetheless, in the event that something has been overlooked, please contact us immediately so we can assess and help resolve the issue.

We ship worldwide to almost every country in the world via FedEx (International) or S.F (China/Asia). Please note that every order will require a signature upon delivery.

All orders are treated as high priority and processed within 24 hours with the exception of weekends or public holidays which can delay processing time. Delivery estimates and arrival times are determined and calculated by our local and international shipping courier.

Our shipping cut off time is 1 pm daily (UTC/GMT + 8 hours) Monday to Saturday. All orders received after 1pm (HK) will be shipped the following business day.

Our standard package size and value is usually exempt from duty in most countries. However, this varies from country to country so It is best to check with your local customs office.

Swatches can vary in size from 2” x 3” to 4” x 6” depending on fabric and requirements. If you would like a specific swatch size please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
